Lastly, don’t forget to hide all of your circuitry to make the trap less obvious. Players may or may not fall for the trap depending on your design choices! The setup with the pressure plates will require 4 blocks of height, so consider a trigger other than a pressure plate if you are having trouble hiding the setup.

You can eliminate the need for redstone under the walkway if you use 2 tripwire sensors facing each other with string placed in between them. You would then have to lead redstone dust from both blocks that the sensors are attached to all the way to the repeaters behind the dispensers.
