FIRST Tech Challenge Robotics

First Tech Challenge (FTC) is an exciting robotics competition designed for high school students from grades 9-12 and 8th grade students 13 or older who are prepared to participate in a high school program. FTC is designed for those who want to compete head to head, using a traditional sports model. Teams of up to 10 students are responsible for designing, building, and programming their robots to compete against other teams.

Participants apply real-world math / science concepts and develop problem-solving, organizational, and team building skills. Participants are eligible to earn a place in the World Championship and can qualify for nearly $9.7 million in college scholarships.
