To start setting up the farm, you first need to place a button and start running wire behind it and towards where your dispensers are located.

Make sure to leave at least 7 blocks of soil in front of each dispenser since water travels 7 blocks across a flat terrain. Separate each few groups of soil patches and dispensers with a lane of water topped with some glowstone blocks.
