What is Python?

Python is an easy to learn, powerful programming language.

It was created by Guido van Rossum in 1991 and further developed by the Python Software Foundation. It was designed to be easy to read, and it allows programmers to express their concepts in fewer lines of code.

A large majority of web applications and platforms rely on Python, including: Google’s search engine, YouTube, Video Games, 3D Applications, Science Data Projects, Databases, the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE), and more!
