Lesson 1: Audio Library

One of the biggest obstacles content creators have to overcome is Copyright claims on Music and Sound Effects. To help people with this, Youtube created their Audio Library. All music and sound effects found in the library are free to use. A Gmail account is required to access the audio library (https://www.youtube.com/audiolibrary/music)

For most cases, we will want to avoid including music with Lyrics into our video, especially if we are going to be talking ourselves. By Filtering for “Dance and Electronic” we can filter out songs with lyrics

To Download a Song or Sound Effect, look for the Download option on the Far Right

Drag and Drop the song you downloaded into the Project Files section of OpenShot. From there, we can add it onto one of our Tracks.
