Engineering & Robotics: Autonomous Robotics with Take Home Arduino Robot

Grades: 7th – 12th

Course Description:

Explore the exciting world of robotics by engineering and programming complex robotics systems to solve numerous engineering problems before going head-to-head against other robots in exciting and educational engineering competitions. Utilizing the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) framework, this course allows students the opportunity to learn valuable fundamentals in engineering and programming. Students will work through the basics of electrical engineering and autonomous robotics by building and programming their own advanced Arduino robot. Arduino, is a versatile microcontroller used for prototyping electronic devices, and is perfect for robotics applications. This class is a great way to prepare for college-level engineering projects and promotes the development of critical thinking, problem-solving, collaboration, programming and engineering skillsets. Each student will take home their individual Arduino robot at the end of the class.
