YOUNG EINSTEINS COURSES

Ages: 5 – 8

Skill Level: No experience necessary!

Skills Learned: Potential & Kinetic Energy, Chemical Reactions, Essential Engineering Concepts, Teamwork, Puzzle Solving, Having Fun While Learning!

COURSE DESCRIPTION

Discover the amazing world of STEM! Our young scientists will learn how to make electric Play-Doh, Silly Putty, and even Glow in the dark Goo. Then make air-powered dragsters and rocket cars to put your skills to the test. Learn all about circuits and electricity by building your own backpack alarm or self-driving robot. Students will then work in teams to create elaborate Hot Wheels test courses complete with huge ramps, curves, loops and jumps to deepen their understanding of potential and kinetic energy. Get started with STEM early in this fantastic course for little ones.

COURSE DESCRIPTION

LEGO and STEM are so much fun that we decided to combine the two! Build LEGO Rocket cars to learn about Newton’s second law of motion. Create gravity defying bridges and put them to the test. Make massive skyscrapers and see how they withstand the forces of an earthquake. Fly balloon-powered LEGO jets down a zip line, make magnetic LEGO mazes, design crazy LEGO Rube-Goldberg contraptions and so much more. This class is perfect for budding young scientists with curious and creative minds!

Young Einsteins: Robotics
Ages: 6 – 9

Skill Level: No Experience Necessary

Skills Learned: Sensors, Motors, Programming, Teamwork, Friendly Competition, Measuring Distance, Predicting Results

COURSE DESCRIPTION

Our Young Einsteins: Robotics program introduces advanced concepts of coding through playful robotics projects and games. Like any language, coding is best learned while young and robotics provides an intuitive and visual learning platform for young learners. Exploring variables, events, conditional statements and more, students are able to program their robots to respond to voice commands, navigate a maze, play soccer, dance, and even sing. This class will delight and excite the curious mind of each and every student.

COURSE DESCRIPTION

Introduce, excite and inspire kids to the wonders of space! Rocketry is one of our favorite courses and we love to bring interactive lessons to the classroom. Kids will learn through hands-on projects about inertia, gravity, friction, and more. What forces does a rocket have to overcome? Students will find out as they create water-powered rockets and launch them hundreds of feet in the air! Designing, building, and launching rockets is STEM at it’s very best!
