Throughout this course, students will learn to design and develop video games using graphical drag and drop interfaces that make coding simple and easy to understand for those new to programming. Students will use cutting-edge game development software that introduces them to the world of game development by having them design their own game levels. They will also be introduced to coding concepts such as functions and conditional statements by learning to create their own additions to the game. Students will then use their knowledge of game and character design to create their own 2D game.
